⚙️ How To Turn Hours Of Repetitive Tasks Into Minutes Of Work

Claude Cowork

This week I’ve been experimenting with Claude Cowork.

I’ve been taking our process docs from Notion (that outline how to do something in our business, step by step) and giving them to Claude and asking “how I can automate this task with cowork.”

Claude then writes up the prompt and instructions for me to follow to automate the job with Cowork.

Some of the tasks I’ve automated this week are;

  1. Producing a weekly report on new leads and next steps to take for each of those leads.

  2. Onboarding new clients to our CRM post sales-call.

  3. Reviewing and updating our Notion docs based on how we currently do things in our business.

This is incredibly easy stuff.

All you need is a paid plan with Claude ($30 per month) and the Claude app installed on your desktop, and Claude talks you through how to do everything.

The onboarding new clients task, for example, used to take ~30 minutes, five to ten times a week. With Cowork, we’ve reduced that work to ~5 minutes.

This is Zapier on steroids and more fun.

By automating just that onboarding task, we’ve been able to double our lead-gen ad-spend because we can process twice as many leads now.

I imagine this is nothing compared to what work looks like 2-3 years from now, and I really don’t see how non-AI businesses survive these changes.

My Travel Supplement Stack To Prevent You From Crashing & Illness

Over the last 4 days I’ll have travelled from Dunedin > Wellington > Brisbane and the next 3 days I’ll be doing Brisbane > Wellington > Dunedin > Auckland.

One of the biggest issues with travelling between time zones is that your sleep changes, which leads to getting sick.

In controlled rhinovirus studies, people sleeping under five hours had about 4.5 times the odds of developing a clinical cold compared with those sleeping over seven hours.

Another study found that sleeping under seven hours was associated with approximately 2.9 times the odds compared with eight hours or more.

The prevention method for illness and fatigue lands in two supplements:

  1. 15 - 20 g of Creatine - dosed in 5-gram servings 3 or 4 times a day - prevent cognitive fatigue

  2. 15 - 20 g of Glutamate - dosed in 5-gram servings 3 or 4 times a day - a precursor to immune cell production

Super simple, but I’ve used this in my most recent trip, and I’m still on point with as little as 5 hours of sleep on my first night in Brisbane.

I’ll let you know how I get on next week.
