How To Capture A Digital Voice

Great ads typically do three things:

1. They hook people in

2. They tell a story about the problem they are solving

3. They get people to take action

When we provide founders with scripts to talk about their companies and the problems they solve, most of them can’t produce the quality like you see above.

To solve this, we’ve started using AI to clone their voices and insert them into ads so we can tell their story without causing unnecessary panic of being on camera.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to ChatGPT and ask, “Please write a story that takes 4 minutes to read out loud that will change the tone of my voice often when I read it aloud.”

2. Set up an audio recorder on your computer using a microphone on Mac; this is “Voice Memos” & “Sound Recorder” for PC

3. Read your ChatGPT story into the mic and hit record

4. Head over to Eleven Labs and sign up, then select
   > Clone your voice > Instant Voice Clone

5. Head back to ChatGPT and ask it,
   
   “Please write me an ad script about what we do as a company (insert your website) and suggest B-roll shots and the perfect digital narration to accompany this targeting (insert your customer profile) that needs to be < 60 seconds.
   
   I’ll need the script to be read successfully in Eleven Labs to create a voice clone, so please ensure that the AI can read this.”
   

6. Voila - you now have your voice perfectly synced, and you can now prompt it to say whatever you need

To the average business owner, why is this important?

Well, because you can make ads from only a text prompt and B-roll (still images and videos of customers) and have your voice narrate the whole thing without having to say a word.

Most founders got into business to focus on the skill or job they love doing.

They didn’t think they’d have to become marketers as well.

You no longer need to dance on sing on TikTok you can make ads from content you already have and narrated it by your voice from a single text prompt.

The easiest way to know whether you’ve created a business people care about. Is by turning it off and seeing how your customers react.

Radio silence, would be a problem.

The difference between running a business with and without product market fit, is night and day.

If people love it, they tell others about it and they never leave. You don’t even bother with marketing.

Without it. You’ve got to constantly run on that marketing treadmill - working hard to get customers, who tell no-one about you and rarely come back.

Without it. I’d suggest not doing anything else until you’ve found it.
