⚙️ How To Un-F**K Your Website

+ The only thing you need to focus when you haven't slept

Testing

We spend $20 per day on Facebook ads for Gravy.

Four weeks ago, these ads were generating 6 leads a week.

Now they’re generating 12.

The only thing we changed was the above-the-fold copy on our website.

It used to be this:

Old website H1 & H2

Now it’s this:

Current website H1 & H2

In fact way back when, with our original copy, which Kale took the piss out of me about here would you believe we struggled to get 3 leads a week.

old old copy

There’s some obvious marketing/copy-writing lessons here, don’t be vague, speak simply, tell people what you’ll do for them blah blah blah (which I stupidly ignored till now).

But generally, I think the more useful insight here is two-fold:

→ Small tweaks in the right places of a business can effect big improvements (not just to copy-writing)

→ Always be testing

The Cocktail For Concentration

7 months ago, my partner and I had our first wee one.

7 months ago, I stopped sleeping through the night.

I was firing at 70% at best for the first three months of our daughter’s life.

To solve this, I’ve started taking 20 g of creatine per day.

Here’s the highlight reel:

You can spend $1.19 per day to stave off fatigue and lethargy (buy this creatine - or find a cheaper one, just make sure it’s creatine monohydrate).

The biggest issue for most people when their failing to concentrate is a lack of sleep.

This compounds very quickly and results in poor performance not just in business but in your day-to-day life.

You should always try to perfect your sleep first, but on days where that’s not an option, this has been a game-changer.

Out of all the supplements and drugs I’ve tried, this one has stopped me from falling over on my face while sleeping 6 hours or less a night.
